|  English metal trio from the NWOBHM era. Raven was formed in the mid-70's in Newcastle, England by brothers Mark (guitar) and John Gallagher (bass/vocals), and drummer Rob "Wacko" Hunter. They signed with independent Neat Records and laid the groundwork for what would become known as thrash metal, although Raven commonly referred to themselves as "Athletic Rock!" This was not a bad description as Raven were over-the-top, energetic, British heavy metal. Best Albums in my opinion: All For One and Wiped Out |

| Yupp..Wiped Out and All For One is my fave by them. I discovered them back when they released the Mad EP and some radio show played Speed Of the Reflex...to this day my fave Raven song...  | |

| I have just heard Wiped out and nothing exceeds like excess but i wasn't that impressived. nothing was a disppointment as i feel wiped out was way better.
For me i don't really understand the hype about em. | |
