Cancer - Death Shall Rise (1991)

This album, released in 1991 and is the second full length by
Cancer, better production and sound, which adds some points.For me, it
took time to get used to the vocals, its not your typical deep deep
growls, its more of an unusual type of growls, and very...evil
sounding.The guitars, well, they guitarist are doing a great job with
the riffs and solos, and the guitars have a strong deep sound which
adds to the evil sound of the album!The drums are great, fast,
sometimes slow and furious...just like every Death Metal LP should
be.Bass...well I cant really hear the bass here, correct me if YOU do
or probably I just dont recognize the sound of the almighty bass.

Overall:

The album is a must get for every Death Metal fanatic and is very rare from what I've been told, the album has a great evil sound and an awesome atmosphere which sucks you to the imagery of the death rising.

Ill give it a 9 since like I said it took time for me to get used to the vocals and I could barely hear the bass...
