Entombed

Entombed is a Swedish death metal/death 'n' roll band which formed in 1987 under the name of Nihilist.

I would recommend Left Hand Path, Clandestine, Wolverine Blues or Uprising to start listen this wonderful band

Entombed are one of the best Swedish death metal bands ever. I have 3 of their albums. They're so damn good. The first two are the best. Left Hand Path and Clandestine. I love the songs Supposed to Rot and Sinners Bleed. Those two are my favorite Entombed songs.

Left Hand Path is definitely one of my favourite death metal albums.

I am in the process of playing their discography from start to finish, I can't like Same Difference no matter how hard I try.

Sad thing is, I've never heard any (and I call myself a metalfan, jeez). Going out CD shopping later so I will rectify this, a nice looking copy of Left Hand Path in the CD shop.

And they are stil going strong with the release of Serpent saints - The Ten Amendments that really took me by surpirse, first heard it during a live show with Entombed about a half year after the release, were blown away by their performence. LG is the king!

Hah. Well i care much about teh lyrics in some cases. But for a death metal group i don't demand that they have good lyrics.

If people who are new to metal and think that they are going to find the answers to life in Death and Black Metal lyrics, they are going to be sorely disappointed.

The lyrics for that song were taken directly from the movie The Devil's Advocate

Yeah its a shitty fucking album.

Entombed is one of my fave swedish bands, and LHP is a kult album with no doubt! I've seen Entombed playing live last year, and LG Petrov is a great vocalist - he was totally drunk, and he still did sing! One of the best, and most crazy gigs I've ever went too

Yeah, Lars Göran Petrov is a great vocalist. Got to shake hands with him too!
