I thought i would also recommend this band as they are the only (virtually) decent band to come out of anywhere even remotely close to where i live ^^. I haven't gheard too much of their newer stuff but their newer stuff is good.

They're ok. A bit bland, but good. They have the skill - they just need to work on their songwriting a bit. I can see them evolving into a pretty good band if given the chance.

Psycroptic USED TO BE a great band, but when I heard (Ob)Servant, i was seriously disappointed. imo their best albums are The Isle of Disenchantment and The Scepter of the Ancients, which are really good tech death albums, if not one of the best. it started to go downhill with Symbols of Failure, but it was still pretty decent. but (Ob)Servant is horrible i think the problem is mainly the singer. i don't like him one bit.

I have to admit I hated his mix of hardcore shouts and death growls.
