| Yeah, I really hope the new album is on par with the last or even better. The last album had to have been top 10-20 from 08 I'd think. Anyway, hopefully they'll set a date soon for "Witchtanic Hellucinations" to come out soon. |

Some pretty big news.....
Shagrat and I will be taking over on the vocals, Lasse will be doin the drums for the upcoming releases we have planned...
This is mostly because Shagrat and I want to start doin some live shows and maybe some fests (this will probably mean no organs for our set),
and Lasse cant fly to the states just to play a couple of shows.
Expect a new song soon, so you can get a taste for what the new album will sound like.

| Acid Witch really surprised me, when I first heard about them I thought: "Oh no, another cheesy death/doom group with lyrics about horror movies topped off with a few cheesy song titles." I decided to give 'em a spin anyway and was really surprised about the vibe in their songs. They could have used a few more "psychedelic" effects as the wah-wah, as cool as it is, gets old pretty fast. | |

| I can see where people come from when they say it gets old fast (cause like we all have our own taste and opinions). But like, in a way, I dont... The song Witchblood Cult is a good example. The progression of the riffs is mesmerizing. 1:29 into that song is the most evil shit I've ever heard. The solos all have the same feeling, that does get tiring but solos get tiring in most bands. Swamp Spells chorus gives vibes of being strung out. Cauldron Cave is another song that simple blows my dick away. So SLUDGYYYYY. I cant help but bang my head to these tracks. Ive never heard anything like this band. Sorry for the ramble... I simple cant get enough of Acid Witch. Maybe im tired of every Doom related band focusing of the just riffs and heaviness? Reverend Bizarre is another band that will never wear out its welcome because of the effort I feel from every angle in all their songs. Notice both bands have connections to FINLAND. I wish I lived there. | |
