I can see where people come from when they say it gets old fast (cause like we all have our own taste and opinions). But like, in a way, I dont... The song Witchblood Cult is a good example. The progression of the riffs is mesmerizing. 1:29 into that song is the most evil shit I've ever heard. The solos all have the same feeling, that does get tiring but solos get tiring in most bands. Swamp Spells chorus gives vibes of being strung out. Cauldron Cave is another song that simple blows my dick away. So SLUDGYYYYY. I cant help but bang my head to these tracks. Ive never heard anything like this band. Sorry for the ramble... I simple cant get enough of Acid Witch.
I didn't mean to say that Acid Witch gets old fast, in my opinion it was really something nice and refreshing what they brought to the table with Witchtanic Hellucinations. My only moans about the full length is about the usage of effects, if you're going to noodle around with them, you'd better add some variation because you can't ride a one trick pony very far. - rawheavygreen wrote:

I think that the consistency of an album from the beginning to the end is much more important than heaviness and riffs. Albums which feature a few hit tracks here and there, and the rest is pretty much filler, are pretty worthless efforts in the long run (but that's because I like to listen to albums from start to finish and I hate to use the skip-button ). | |
