Velvet is one of many names applied to the chemical dextromethorphan, and CACOON are the initials of a catacomb just outside Portland city limits.
*sigh* I almost feel silly talking about these guys anymore. Anyway, I will say, despite their pretty lame music, I have developed a certain respect for these guys. Their views of undermining peoples' dedication to the concept of truth in favor of promoting mystery and mythos is actually fairly thoughtful, even admirable. It does strike a chord with very real black metal sensibilities deeply ingrained in "legitimate" bands, old and new.
