    The Velvet Underground are a really influenctial band from the 60's. They're one of my favorite bands recently. Basically had an influence in all types of music. You should pick up 'The Velvet Underground & Nico' and 'White Light White Heat' now. They're fucking amazing!

    I've heard some music by them but I really never listened to any of their albums...On your rec. I will grab an album by them though.

    Haven't listened so much but yeah, I like 'em, Reed's had something in his lyrics and the music overall, of course, great.
