Whilst I am definitely not a huge fan of the folk metal genre, this group really shines out for me. Described as an Irish 'celtic folk metal' group, they certainly live up to the description. Their albums comprise of anything from original folkish metal songs to reworkings of traditional celtic 'reels' and folk songs. I would advise anyone interested to check out either the album 'Pagan' or 'Folk-Lore' , as while I am very fond of both albums, I would say that Pagan was their best overall but Folk-Lore has much more of their reworked traditional folk songs and is maybe not as 'metal' as Pagan. So if you're a metalhead and not sure where to start, go for Pagan, but if you're more of a folky I'd say you should try Folk-Lore first. I hope you enjoy their music as much as I did!
