Got this off Metal Rules:

"Kamelot reportedly will enter the studio this June 2009 to record the follow-up to the blockbuster CD, Ghost Opera, which spawned four high incredible videos, 100+ concerts in more than 22 countries and many sold out shows. Once again enlisting producers Sascha Paeth and Miro, the band plans to use studios in Germany, Norway and the USA for this next massive production.

Kamelot's final concerts of 2009 will take place this Summer, including an appearance at the Sonisphere Festival with Metallica in Nijmegen, Netherlands. Don't miss it! See this location for all show info!" http://www.kamelot.com/tour.htm

As well, Kamelot guitarist Thomas Youngblood has checked in with the following update:

"Hi Kamelot Nation!!

We are busy working on the details and flights for the upcoming Norwegian shows this May. It will be a very fun and exciting weekend in the home country of Khan, our singer and my comrade. Our heads are still reeling from the recent European tour, so many awesome memories and amazing fans.

I wanted to again say thanks to all of you that came out, see you very soon. I also want to thank Hard Rock Cafe for their support, at the HRC in Cologne (Germany) we were treated with a killer after show party and got to meet several hundred fans and friends up close and personal. Also thanks to MusicStore Cologne for their support and help with this event. We hope to plan more events like this in the future!"

Greetz!
Thomas and Kamelot

22 - Trondheim, Norway - Trondheim Rock Fest
23 - Elverum, Norway - Open Air

June
5 - Sölvesborg, Sweden - Sweden Rock Festival

Just started getting into this band. I have Ghost Opera, it was worth the money paid and can't wait for the next album.

Ghost Opera is fantastic. Check out The Black Halo, Fourth Legacy and Karma as well.

I saw Kamelot one year ago, one of the best shows I have seen.

I love Kamelot. One of the best symphonic power/prog bands out there! Their albums get better and better so I have high hopes for a new one!

I saw them 3 times now and it was better with every show.
The after show party in Cologne was nice and I loved them in Frankfurt (shot a bunch of great pictures this time).

I look forward to the next album and some other concerts.
