Death Strike

This is the band before Master. They formed in Chicago, Illinois in 1983. They only released a demo and one album. They were both called Fuckin' Death. The demo was released in 1985 and the album was released 6 years later. The album has the first 4 tracks off the demo (not re-recorded, the original demo songs) + 4 brand new songs. The first four songs on the album became Master songs. The first 3 appeared on the self-titled Master album and the 4th one appears on the Unreleased 1985 Album (released in 2003).

I really dig Death Strike a lot. They seem like a band that would make poseurs' ears bleed and make them cry. That's how awesome Death Strike are. In my opinion, The Truth is an anti-poseur song.

Highly recommended if you like Master and Paul Speckmann. This is an excellent pre-cursor to Master.
