A really different doom metal act formed as early as in 1989.
They got two full lenghts out before they split up.

Ashore the celestian burden from 1992 : The only one of them i've could find, and really great album. Different and heavy. Makes me think of Death with doom elements.

1993: Diana read peace.

They didn'y have a myspace though =/.

Goodie, i don't think you will be disappointed.
Could help out and upload it on the blog if it's posible?

Otherwise, let me know if you find the second album, would be nice of you.

Have you heard the 2nd album yet? if not let me know and I'll upload it for you.
Personally I hate it, but that's because the first thing I heard by Dark Millennium was their demo 'Of Sceptre Their Ashes May Be' which is absolutely amazing! Its got a different vocalist on the demo, Torsten something or other (who for some unknown reason never seems to get mentioned anywhere, I've tried adding his info on their Metal Archives page to no avail). His vocals were straight up death metal and fitted brilliantly with the music, This demo (there's another 'The Apocryphal Wisdom') is raw in production, but the sound is a lot more intense than on the albums. I got the albums whilst I was in Germany and was really disappointed when I listened to them, they sound weak and watered down in comparison to that demo and the vocals are bloody awful!

If anyones interested I'll upload the demo, I've got both on tape (both albums and a demo t-shirt too!), though 'Of Sceptre Their Ashes May Be' is a million times better.

Shoved the demos up in the downloads section. If you want the second album you'll have to wait, all my cds/vinyl are boxed up whilst I decorate.

I love this band. Sounds like a less progressive Atheist playing doom / death. Ashore The Celestial Burden is a masterpiece, and the artwork is pretty super too Very Happy
