While Heaven Wept

From last.fm: Slow, heavy, Epic Doom Metal with clean vocals. Their album ‘Sorrow of
the Angels’ picks up where Candlemass left off with ‘Tales of Creation’
and is a true must for Candlemass fans. Older work shows a more
Death/Doom face and even incorporates grunts.

Formed back in 1989, now with one ep and two full length out. Last one in 2003 called of empires forlorn an true masterpiece, but i have ti say their first full album sorrow of the angels is better. One need to hear doom masterpiece. Beautiful emotional and heavy.

While Heaven Wept is great. I have high respect for this band. I find it really interesting about their line-up history. Tom Phillips is the only guy to be in the band for all its history. I think that they have had around 65 changes, if I'm correct.

Yeah, I think their lineup is pretty ridiculous, awesome band though and pretty unique even for doom. Listening to them right now actually

As long as they keep making fantastic unique music. Just to bad it has been so many years since their last full length. :/

Yeah, actually I think is is much better than Of Empires Forlorn IMO. I'm gonna listen to Chapter 1 now. This With A Kiss I die, the first track on Sorrow of the Angels is absolutely incredible.

True, i agree. Much much better then EMpire! Oh yeah that song is incredible.

But the tag is spelles wrong, it is Thus With A Kiss I Die.

True enough; last time I read Tom Philips's blog he said that there's music and a new album will eventually make it, but he's just been busy with other stuff. Probably one of albums I'm anticipating most right now

Wow, I was just going to bring up something about the future full-length album and if anyone has any information on it. Sweet, I can't wait for this!

Same here, cover looks good and i'm sure of the album will be ace. They have a new song on their myspace i think. But i'm going to wait until i can listen to all the songs.

New album has leaked now. Listening right now. Sounds really good. Much heavier then expected.
