Greek Black Metal

I have recently become very fond of this type of BM because a lot of the groups sing about Greek Mythology and whatnot.

I have in cd the "Up from the ashes" from Naer Mataron, maybe i can ri this to mp3 and upload, if anyone need, or it may be easier to find a link to download it, do not know what would be the best option.

What about the good ol' Necromantia? Scarlet evil witching black from '95 is pretty good stuff. I also recommend Thou Art Lord, guys from Necromantia and Rotting Christ in this one. And despite some national socalist leanings, for some it might be a problem, for some not, Legion Of Doom is pretty essential when talking about Greek black metal.

Legion of Doom makes a good sound, i dont talk about Legion of Doom before because your NS position (I'm from Brazil and would be totally inconsistent of me to support any kind of ideology of racial prejudice, although phenotypically I'm not as black but my gene pool contains parts of Africa and theindians of my country) , but in some cases is possible separete the "ideology" from the sound, its black metal and a good black metal...

Yeah, I didn't want to list all the Greek bands with NS-influences knowingly, because there's quite a lot of them. There's very excellent black metal if you can look past the cloak of national socialism.

Yea, there is a lot of Greek NSBM, most of the ones I listed have NSBM type lyrics.

I'm a huge fan of hellenic black metal; mostly the older kind of stuff such as Rotting Christ, Necromantia and Varathron. I enjoy its melodic nature mostly, its not too abrasive and feels quite laid back for black metal. I had a good compilation for this, but cannot remember what its called.

İt's not black metal but also Nightfall and Septic Flesh are good
samples of dark greek metal scene.
