My favorite of the big four, easily. Favorite albums have gotta be Reign In Blood or Show No Mercy. Not sure which though.

As for their discography - "Show No Mercy", "Haunting The Chapel" EP and especially "South Of Heaven" are my most beloved releases by them. Other then that, "Hell Awaits" is pretty cool album, "Reign In Blood" is terribly overrated, "Seasons In The Abyss" is just sort of summarization of prior Slayer's releases so that it contains nothing new or interesting and is an "ok" release. Post-Seasons stuff is "meh", and can be hardly called thrash.

I can't take that statement seriously, cause you weren't there the day this album was released. When this album was released it was at least five years ahead its time in fastness and brutality.
This album is up there along with the first Black Sabbath as it's most groundbreaking piece of music of all time.

You can dislike this album as much as you will, but to call it overrated shows the lack of understanding the historical background for this album.

Sorry, but it had to be said! I love this band, they're one of the biggest influences in death metal!

They have slowly deteriorated ever since Reign In Blood, but there are still some new songs I like (God Hates Us All, Disciple, Jihad, Black Serenade, Cult, Supremacist etc.).

Show No Mercy for me!!

I love Reign In Blood, it was my first Slayer album and will always be my favourite. Right now I am listening to South of Heaven, epic fucking album. I'm not holding my breath for anything great with the upcoming album.

I actually like both...I really liked Christ Illusion...

At first I hated Christ Illusion, then it slowly grew on me, I don't rate it that highly, it sounds too much like Seasons in the Abyss to have any real value. I prefer the older stuff, up to Seasons.

Nice to you, I love all albums, but Undisputed Attitude was unnecessary
