Yeah, he feels it too. He's already said he doesn't see himself doing the whole thrash metal thing much longer. He's getting too old to tour. Kerry said that he has no wishes to continue Slayer without Tom, so if Tom leaves he's disbanding Slayer and going to start a project with Zack Wylde.

What? With Zakk? Crazy shit. Yeah I couldn't see Slayer continuing without Tom.

Yeah, he said the original project was meant to start ages ago with Dimebag, Kerry and Zakk, but Dimebag died so they put it on hiatus and never got around to it. It's meant to be called 'Drinking Coke and Snorting Beer'

You just couldn't have a Slayer thread without it.

Either way I'd say Slayer were pretty much consistant for their whole back catalouge. well that's how I see it anyway. Slayer's my Ol' Dependable.

A side project with Zakk would be awesome.

There's nothing wrong with comparing them in the thread. But I see this thread taking a wrong turn towards bashing the two bands and bashing each other. As long as there is none of that then carry on.

Ummmm, Actually the reason the USA is in the title is because when we first started the forum there had been a 10 character minimum for thread titles...That is why several of our thread titles do in fact have the country or even genre in the name...We have been removing them as we go...Unfortunately with all the time that is spent refining the site, maintaining the blog, work, and everything else that myself and all of the mods do...Some threads have just slipped through the cracks...

I coulndt find any Dutch Slayer.

They're new. They've released a demo.

There is a NWOBHM band from th UK called Slayer, they released a demo in 1982 and an EP in 1983. I did not find a Dutch band called Slayer on MA.

If you check out the demo-submissions page on Earache's website, you can listen to them. If they got signed though, Earache probably forced them to change their name.

Why call yourself Slayer if their is already a better known band out there with the same name?
