Think I'm getting too old to headbang my neck is fucked today! lol They played loads from the new album as well as some old stuff, highlight for me was My Apocolypse, Outlaw Torn, Hit The Lights and Overkill. |

| I'm really not a Metallica fan. They're older stuff was decent stuff nothing brings me back to it though. They're produced some really crappy albums, although DM was a step back towards what they use to be. Cliff was a cool bassist, bit sloppy, but nonetheless cool. Although, I think Rob's nearly/just as talented. Listen to his work with other bands. Anyway, yeah, they're ok, not really a fan though.

Rob is a wicked bassist. And fair comment....we can't all like the same, life would be dull as shit otherwise. |

| I used to love Metallica to death until they tried to feed me those two shitstorms Reload and St. Anger. It took me quite some time to start listening to them again.
And I've noticed that whenever I see Hetfield or Ulrich doing an interview or tv special. Both of them act as if we the fans should worship them and that the fans don't mean much to them.
And the way they treated Newsted, Hetfield in particular is absolutey ridiculous.
They fucking basically drove him out of the band.
But, Master, Ride, Kill em All and ...And Justice are all masterpieces....

| For me of course Metallica is a failure of the metal scene and I don't care what they recorded in the '80 and even in the '90, Megadeth came out from this swamps much better.

| My favorite Metallica album would be "Master of Puppets". Perfection right there, wish I could say the same for some CERTAIN albums they've released afterwards. Death Magnetic is a decent comeback, not quite "Kill 'Em All", but good enough | |

| I've always enjoyed the Megadeth V. Metallica fight. Normally, everyone starts throwing opinions and ends up a flamefest. By the way, I perfer Megadeth but they're both had some shit albums, and I'm not a big fan of either. Vocals = annoying on both for me.
Anyway, going back to Heats points. Thats one reason I have such a strong dislike for this band, the fact they act the way they do. Honesltly, if they could have produced like 9 albums up to par with Kill em' All, that would have been one thing. But, they produced some real shit. |

| I have always been a huge Metallica fan.. at least of the 80s stuff. When the whole big thing with Napster started was when they started losing me. From there they changed their sound too much, to the point where they werent even the same band anymore.
I remember when I first saw the band after they all cut their hair and came up with their alternitive rock image... I was fucking disappointed.

| Every band would like to have the most fans/consumers possible. Too bad consumers didn't want thrash metal as much as their other stuff. |

Yep, Megadeth has ended their true thrash metal whirl after the Youthanasia. But now they are have a much new fans and stuff is much better than in the late '90. And TWNAH wasn't that bad I think, but things I hate in that album : Beggining of the Burning Bridges Recipe For Hate... Warhorse - This is not Megadeth! Return To Hangar - they destroy the sounds of my lovely song of all time - Hangar 18, they shouldn't recording that |

Oh...I'm sorry to hear that I didn't like Load at all, but Re-Load have some really good song...after that I haven't paid much attention before Death Magnetic last year. Easily their best since The Black Album. My favorite by them is Ride ze Lightning and Master Of Puppets

| There are some great songs on Load, such as Ain't My Bitch, 2x4, Outlaw Torn and Bleeding Me. Not my favourite album those would be MOP, RTL and Death Magnetic |

| I downloaded the Birmingham concert they did recently and was really surprised how good they sounded. The live performances I've heard from the last ten years or so have been uninspired and sloppy played, but they sounded tight and inspired on the one from Birmingham at least... | |

| I've seen them live 4 times in the last year and they have sounded amazing every time. Saturday nights gig was outstanding and the new songs really went down well with the very loud crowd! I've got that show and the Nottingham show downloaded and they are excellent. |
